450SEL 6.9 Suspension
I am now the proud owner of two 6.9's. I shredded the gearbox in the first one and had to buy a second as a donor. My first one has been on a lift for about 14 weeks. Now I need to get the second one onto the lift to remove its gearbox. Is it safe to insert the four rubber suspension buffers in the car on the lift and lower it to the ground?

Eddie, thats what they are for. If suspension wasn't "locked" with the control knob, or if it has "issues", the car will be the lowest low rider you ever saw. Not many 6.9's still have the blocks. If it wasn't for the lift body, the pan would be on the ground. For additional information, get to www.intl-m-100group.org.
