power shade and auto closing doors on 03 s430
 

my rear window power shade and auto closing doors have stop suddenly working.all fuses are good.i replaced the relay for the power shade with no luck.what else should i check.this car has no warranty,thanks

The rear SAM/fuse box is a major player in those two systems as well as many others. Start with the simple and easy things first. Fuse #50 powers the rear sun shade. If it's OK remove the rear seat bench to access the rear SAM. Check for water damage in that area. 220's are notorious for this problem. Good luck

thanks- all my fuses are good.unless i have missed a fuse box.i have two under the hood ,one under the rear seat and one behind the vent on side of the right passenger dash..please define S.A.M.thanks again
