wierd behavior!
 

My 95 E320 displays the dummy light "Check" engine, the tach is all over the map, the ASR and ABS lights are on sporatically. Today, I lost power i.e. gas pedal did increase power until pushed 2/3 of the way down and was stuck in 1st gear for a while.

Now, cycling the engine on and off with the key corrected it, but only for a while, and had to do it again, and again on my drive back

Note: I had codes read last week for the "check engine". Came back low-voltage experienced...? Tech said it is not a conclusive read and could have been a lot of things, just have to wait for something else to happen...

Anyone had similar problems, aside from the car having 133k miles.

Check ther OVP and get the code numbers .

Do what Arthur says and also check the voltage regulator. When mine when bad car did allkinds of weird stuff gauges, warning lights, etc.
