Heater vent or controls?
 

:P Hello All… got another question for you Mercedes thinkers……. I have a 1988 300 SE (W126). My heater and air conditioner works great except ….. I can’t get or I don’t get any heat directed to my feet (Drivers side) and the vent that goes to the back from the center console only blows cold air. Everything else seems to be working as is should with exception of that…. Any ideas?

Looks like the only think not working properly is the driver's side flap to direct the heat to your feet. It could be vacuum related due to a bad pod or it could be a broken piece on the actual door flap.

The rear center vent provides only fresh air to the rear seat. Simply close it off for the winter months, the heat for the rear come out from under the front seats.
