Something funny is going on with my 190e 16v. During the daytime I open the drivers side door and the interior light comes on. At night when I open the drivers side door the light will not come on. Any ideas why?

Try switching the door contact switch with one of the rear ones. Just squeeze the black outer & pull out. Doesn't matter what terminals the wires plug on.
