high idle, troubled sunroof

I've just purchased a '88 560SEL. It idles around 1800 rpm. It's fuel injected so not sure where to start to correct this. Any similar complaints? Suggestions?

Also, the sunroof tilt's up in the back but does not open nor does it close completely. What could cause this.
