multimeter
I have seen several references to a budget ratio tester /multimeter on these forums. How/where can I get one of these?
I just bought the Trisco Hand held Tester, it is great for getting and resetting error codes on both OBDT II and earlier systems, but will not get live data. I am having serious problems with the entire electronics on me 93 600SEC, already replaced the MAF's and wiring harnesses, R&R'd both ETA's (no problems with these), not quite sure where to go next.... |
what kind of condition are your Citroen SM's in?

I love to be able to help you out, but I think you're too far gone. :P Two citroens and a V12 mercedes? Yikes. at least you've got lots of other cars for transportation to get to the parts shop
Sears sells one that some people have referred to as decent and cheap. I got mine off ebay, all fancy with a PC rs-232 interface that I never use anyway. If it's got duty cycles then it's probably good enough. I would contemplate getting one of the nice handheld Fluke meters with the oscilloscope and inductive pickup. With all those cars at least it'll get alot of use. Robert |
