Adjusting of the hydraulic lifters.W124, 230E, 102 Type engine.

Please can someone help me with a technical question related to a W124, 230E, 102 Type engine.

How does one determine the shim width needed for proper adjusting of the hydraulic lifters.

M Benz make a dial gauge holder to take a dial gauge for this operation, and would appreciate a step by step procedure for the operation!

Thank you

Fred
