Quick question about seat heaters

Did MB put seat heaters on cars with MBTex interior? I have never seen one but would like to add them to my 91 300D that has the MBTex. My 84 500SEL has the heaters but also has leather.
I was told that the MBTex which is a plastic type material would not hold up to the heat.

Thanks

I don't think the seat heaters would hurt MB tex, I think the reason you don't see them is because of the lower trim option, usually MB tex means less options. I prefer the MB tex though as it is indestructible and I don't think the seat heater could ever produce more heat than leaving your car in the sun. Good luck!
