No heat 190e 2.6 Sportline

I have a 1993 190e 2.6 Sportline with no heat. The car has a new thermostat so this can be ruled out. Does anyone know where I should start or what commonly causes this problem on the 190's?

1) What temp does engine temp gage read when fully warmed up?
2) Does the fan blow air into the cabin?
3) Any coolant leaks?

There's a vacuum actuator that closes the water valve. Vacuum closes it so no heat would mean the actuator works, but the valve might be stuck closed. A test would be to feel the left side near the back of the glove box after you've driven it for a while, if you're getting water it should be warm, the water line runs right by there (or you could take the glove box out.). The valve is under the plastic at the base of the windshield on the right side. You can kind of see it through the vent slots.

I had this issue and it was the monovalve..... I had a spare one and was able to switch out....they also make a kit for the diaphram

Thanks all for the help Re: 190e 2.6 sportline "no heat"

Well, the problem was "fixed". In all actuality there was nothing wrong with the car. We just bought it and my wife was driving it w/o realizing that only vent air comes out of the center vents, she thought the heat went out on it. Hope I didn't trouble you guys.
Knowing this I thought I'd get a head start on this problem as Im not too familiar with M-B. Had VW's for some time till I found this one for 3200 bucks, couldnt pass on this deal. Both my wife and I love this car WOW!, only a Benz drives like this.
What do these cars go for on the average? Book prices are not always idicative of actual market values.

-93 190e 2.6 Sportline (Cream interior not the Limited Edition black and red)
- Burgundy exterior, 163k, auto, body and mech clean and good running, new rotors, pads, tires, rear shocks.
It looks and drives great.
Thanks all.

The same thing happened to me this winter. I took my wife's car to get new tires, so she had my 190E. I get a call at work saying the the climate control is only blowing cold air and she's freezing! Of course I'm concerned that there's been a catostrophic coolant leak, so I tell her to keep an eye on the temp guage and stop if it gets hot (and to zip her jacket up all the way).

I get home later and check it out. She had the heat & blower on full, and the center vents wide open. So the vents were blowing 10 degree F air right at her. She fealt kinda silly.
