what does it need?

Hi im new to the forums. Well anyways, I have this car thats been sitting in the back of my property for about 3 years now it hasn't been started or moved. The car has only about 35K miles on it and about 5 years old. What I'm wondering is, since the car hasn't been started in about 3, 3 1/2 years, what would I need to do to get this car started up and running again.

Hears the story on how I got the car. About 4 years ago my parents bought this house and the previous owner left his car here and moved to Brazil, (we live in Illinois) we haven't heard word from him since. We have the title and every thing so its legally ours now. The car worked fine when we moved here, we just drove it to the back of the property (thinking he would come back to pick it up, but never did) and let it sit.

So again the car has been sitting for about 3, 3 1/2 years. What might I need to do to get this car started and running, and how much would it cost around? I know I need to buy 4 new tires so exclude that. The body and interiour of the car is in mint condition.

Thanks

It would be very helpful to answer your questions better if you include make, model, and year, diesel, or gas.

Engine oil, engine coolant, brake fluid, air, fuel, and oil filters should be changed, generally.
