Can someone please tell me where the manual close is for the sunroof.
 

As previously posted - the sunroof of my 1986 300E wont close. I don't have the manual and cant locate where to manual close it. I removed both dome lights hoping to find a crank or socket where a crank could fit but nothing. Is it in the trunk and if yes where abouts?

I don't know exactly where it is on your car. My sunroof motor is on the driver's side in the trunk toward the rear window. There is a socket sort of thing in a plastic holder and this socket is inserted into the motor and cranked to manually close the roof. You may have to peel back the fabric covers to see all this.

There should be a hex nut on the motor in the trunk (near the power antenna but further forward) which fits the wheel lug wrench. Use the lug wrench to manully close the sunroof. Go easy, don't 'gorilla' it...
