Turn signals stopped working
 

The turn signals have stopped working on my 1983 MB 300D. They would not operate with the red emergency light signals either.

While toying with the switches I was able to get them to work once and verified the bulbs are working. I replaced the fuse but this has had no effect.

Any idea what is going on?

I would suggest a thorough cleaning of the contacts in the emergency flasher. If you can, verify that there is a 12V supply to the flasher.

Like Jim said check the hazard switch first. You can just simply disconnect and reconnect first and see if that makes a difference. That's how I got mine to work.
