1969 280SL Fuel Injection engine stalls
 

SL 280SL Stalls

After about 15 min. my 280 SL stalls. If I let it rest a few minutes, it will start and run for a couple of minutes and then quits again. The car is not driven very often, less than 100 miles a year. The tank was filled about a year ago. No prior problems of this nature.

Since you drive it once a year, the gas could be bad, have water in it, the tank rusty or the fine mesh fuel filter is clogged. Better investigate all those because you don't want the FI pump damaged with crud. They are expensive to overhaul.
