Best plugs for 89 Mercedes 420SEL ??

Price being no concern, what are the really best plugs to buy for an 89 420SEL ?? I know the W8 DCO is the top regular standard plug for this car, but is it better to use the Quad platinum plugs for the very best overall performance ?? Please advise .... getting plugs in the next day or so.
Thanks, BC

I use Bosch copper for my 89 300ce and change them every year.

Get the standard Bosch plugs from the dealer. They are cheap enough - about $2 a plug. Anything else is a waste of time and money. These cars do not run well with the platinum plugs.

Good advise from all above.

The gas 126 cars from 1986-1991 ran good on what they came from the factory with - Bosch copper plugs.

None of the multi-electrode plugs will work better and in many cases will run worse, especially at idle.

My 2 cents.
