wobble at high speeds

When I brake at high speeds, lets say 120, 140, 160 I get a wobble in the front end. The steering wheel shakes quite hard....

The tire pressure is as recommended, the tires are even and not worn down

It sounds like steering dampner needs to be replaced, it's an easy job it's a horizontial looking shock absorber, could also be warped brake rotors, I would take off one side of the steering dampner and see if it still has resistance, if not replace they test drive and if it still happens , time for brakes

Alright good reply, I have suspected the rotors but would not have thought about the dampner. Unitl you mentioned it.
