560 SEL button identification,Instrument Id?

I am wondering what this bank of buttons do at the back of the gear lever?
Also there is a LCD readout at the side of the speedo that does'nt work any ideas what it is and how tomake it work!! I have included pics of both Thanks. |

I have only seen one car with that on board computer, we imported it about twenty years ago.
