E320 Knocking sound- Power windows
 

1995 E320 Wagon- Right/Front Passenger Window makes a loud knock,knock,knock.....noise when window is fully up and I have not released the up window button yet.

Any suggestions as to what this is..... ?

You need a new window reg/motor ass.

what you are hearing are the teeth skipping on the regulator, it will only get worse, you need to replace the regulator and possibly the motor, not a difficult job if you take your time, expect to pay about $125 or so for a regulator, be sure to lube up everything when putting back together.

Can anyone give me step by step to taking Right Front Passenger door off a 95 E320 Wagon to get to this regulator?

Do a search on "W124 door panel removal" or a similar key phrase. We W124 owners do this a lot. Tedious to write over and over, but fairly simple to do.
