gone timing chain

my timing chain on my 420sel is gone,I want to replace it my self,could use any advice anyone can give me.Also where is the best place to purchase the chain,guides rails,sprocket and all gasket?Can i buy this as a kit?

...is your chain worn or broken?

If it's broken- you'll be pulling heads and replacing the bent valve(s). I might suggest- only factory chain rails and buying a wsis chain(OEM). I'm sure there is plenty of detail on the list for triming the chain rail.

Might mention that you'll need some specialty tools to lock the camshafts.. never tried it without.

If you've broken a rail and the chain- then you'll need to pull the pan to remove the debris.
