removing wood pieces on W126

Hi All,

I recently purchase a 1985 300sd...first diesel and I love it. But I want to refinish some of the wood on the console...specifically the piece around the climate controls and the piece around the shifter and window buttons.

Can someone tell me how to remove these pieces to work on them?

I'd appreciate any help.

Thanks in advance.
