Hella Light question
I was informed that Hella Germany no longer makes the 1991-1993 Hella E-Code 500e head lights so I have some questions regarding W124 Head Lights. If I were to buy the 1993-1995 Hella E-Code E500 lights what would be the differences?
I have seen cars that have the newer lights on old style hood/grill. For example look at these: http://img129.echo.cx/img129/4288/frontpass045yj.jpg http://img129.echo.cx/img129/6466/gs...desshop2ws.jpg http://img129.echo.cx/img129/1937/ke...desshop7xd.jpg What is the difference behind the lens between: Hella 1991-1993 500E E-Code vs Hella 1993-1995 E500 E-Code? I understand the shape of the lens is different to accomodate the newer style hood/grill, but is there any other differences? Here are some pics that I found: 1991-1993 500e Hella E-Code http://img29.exs.cx/img29/1298/hella2.jpg 1993-1995 E500 Hella E-Code http://img29.exs.cx/img29/5179/hella5.jpg http://img38.exs.cx/img38/1379/e200_...nsingapore.jpg |

the diff is shape of the lense [fog light side]
look at your 2nd pic [up close]. all european spec headlight lenses are replaceable. hella has NOT stopped making 500e/e500 lenses, you must now buy them from mercedes benz |
