Just paid $1150 to repaint some rust spots and dent on the car ten days ago. Then this week Some guy's bags or stone off a truck pitted one of the chrome side strip(one of 6 ie 2x 3 each side) and the bottom of the central chrome spine(not too noticeable).
I see ebay has aftermarket grilles for 60 -120$.But it's a bit drastic to replace the whole grille when only one strip is pitted noticeably.Also quality issue with these aftermarket parts.
otherwise there are the strips insert to make it look like a S600 grille.But I think they only supplies enough strips to cover slats WITHOUT chrome strips.(ie 11 minus 3=8 on each side)
Fastlane does not sell the strips.
Is there a site that sells a single strip or a replacement strips kit,not necessarily the S600 version,just the 3 per side plain jane version?
