Remote key central locking pump

The remote key central locking pump on my 1998 S-320 has gone bad. Is there a fuse that works this pump? Where can I get this pump at a reasonable price or is it wise to get a used pump? A dealer in the Washington, DC area has given me a $1500 quote to repair/replace.

In in DC too, which dealership quoted you this? If you want, I can get it for you wholesale. Easy to swap out.
