Hello Everyone...

Today I am going to change the windshield washer pumps on my car, for the necks on them have aged, cracked, and broken. I noticed that the hose that goes from one of the motors to the windshield nozzles has 2 electrical wires inside of it as well, and they have some sort of electrical connections up at the nozzles on the hood. Down by the pump, it doesnt look like the wires connect to anything, but they have what looks like shrink tubing connecting the 2 wires together. Does anyone know what these wires go to, or what they do and do they need to be connected to something down by the pump?

Thanks everyone....Peter
