transmission? clicking in reverse
My 1993 600SEL seems to have an intermitant clicking noise in reverse, I only seem to hear it backing out of the garage. In all other aspects the car is running flawlessly
Any ideas? |
When the reverse clutches wear out & then the 3 gear clutch drum will hit the reverse piston when reverse is applied! Don't wait too long as MAJOR damage can happen by that contact!
