Low Port for A/C Recharge

Would someone be able to tell me exactly where the low port is on a 1990 300E.I am trying to recharge my A/C. I have done it in the past on a BMW but I think I found the low port and just want to confirm with someone out there. Thanks for any help you can provide me with.

Low side ports are always on the suction side of the the compressor
[ between evap and comp]
For easy ID, this line is also the larger line ..

On comps. with the ports right on the comp [ Old Yorks, etc] , the low side port will still be where the larger line enters comp port

Here is one from a previous post yesterday.. little later model, but will give you the approx. idea
