722.6 Question - PeachParts Mercedes-Benz Forum

I am considering flat towing ML which has a lube pump available for this purpose. My question does the 99 4 matic use 722.6 and a similar drive train as the ML. I would like to flat tow the 99 4 matic with the addition of the lube pump. NEED ADVISE

Both are 722.6x - according to my records a 99 ML is a 722.662 and a 99 4 matic a 722.664, which is to say they should be very similar.

Watch out !
I was talking to several shops about my trans rear pump (83 300 sd)
and one trans shop mentioned that later transmissions stopped using
them. good luck.
