Burning lub smell while driving

There are a few problems with my 92 190E recently.

- I smell some lubricate oil while I am driving. Why is that?
- The coolant lost very quickly. I fill the coolant reservoir and the coolant level warning light turn on after 100KM of driving. I cannot see any leakage immediately after driving, or after it park for a few days.
-There is a switch on the left of the gear swift. The switch has a symbol of a person when it is switch to the right. What is this switch?
