My 77 300 D has this problem too, do you have ACC. I seem to get more air flow when I select the defrost mode. All the diffuser door seem to be working. What have you tried?

What's ACC? And not sure what you are talking about....

ACC = Automatic Climate Control. The 85 300D has it but it is different than the system prior to the 81 model year.
You very well could have a vacuum leak or a bad vacuum pod causing a flap to be in the wrong position. You also could have a bad blower motor or blower motor control. Good luck, |

LB:
Is this a big repair? ($$?) Is it something that I could do myself? I have an honest AC shop who only does AC; and I have a MB shop who would probably charge higher price..... Any suggestions??? |
