Where is that d**n thing?
Could anyone please
 tell me where the expansion valve for the A/C system is on an '82 300d is located?

Pull down the hush panel that is below the dash and above the passengers feet. The lines come in that area and are connected to the TXV.

removing the glovebox doesnt hurt either.
