How hot does a 722.3 tranny case get?

Hi all
One of the eylets broke off my transmissin case. The exhaust bracket connects to those. I intend to glue it back on. The adhesive I have in mind is working up to 275 Fahrenheit. Is this high enough? Does anyone know how hot a transmission case can get? I know I could measure myself using a laser termometer. I do not own one though and maybe anyone of you knows the answer?
