123 climate control
 

I have a 79 280ce with some climate control issues. The darn thing works at times but usually the only thing I get is defrost. I suspect its a vacuum problem but I really don't know where to start. Any help would be appreciated

Thats a horrible bad sign....default operation is defrost...but first does this have the ACC (automatic Climate control) its the huge black thing with a huge number of vacume lines going into it about the size of a large grapefruit.

it would also have a vertical row of pushbuttons in the dash control and no knobs or levers....
