Snap on Modis Question
I've been offered a Snap on Modis with outdated v1.0 software (current is 5.2) and the scan function doesn't work for $1200. Obviously it would need to be updated and repaired and have MB European software installed. Is this a worthwhile way to acquire one or am I better off buying a newer one with the software installed?

I'd check with Snap-On for price of the repair and update first, but the price is about 1/10 the cost of a new one.
