help with a noise

I can hear a strong sound upon hard braking similar to hitting a pothole with the rim. It sounds like the spring was braking apart.
Just to mention that I have new disks and rotors(maybe 3000 miles on them).
The sound comes from the front passanger side.
Car 300E 2.8 189k
Thanks

I know they've been a lot of broken springs in salt belt areas on W124's.

Problem solved:
The 8mm allen screw that holds the brake disk on the whell hub was broken . Not only that but with a piece of the disk. And the screw was not overturned, it was tighten by the torque specs from MB manual. I guess this days You can't trust even ATE brake disks.
I was removing the screw and just live it like that . The presure apllied by the wheel bolts is enough for holding the disk. No noise though....
