W124 Injector replacement - 12v/24v versions?

Am planning to replace my injectors. Have found a good (cheap @ £13 each) supplier but they can only source Bosch injectors listed for the 12v 300CE engine not the 24v 300 CE-24 that I have – apparently there's a slight difference between these two types of injector.

The supplier says that "the 24v injector delivers a greater output spray per dwell than the 12v", but that "it's a very small difference between the two types". He also says that even using the 12v injectors I'll see a big improvement over the current (75k miles old) 24v ones.

Anyone have any advice? Is he telling the truth or just after a sale?

I'd generally think to use the proper ones for the 24v engine, but feel slightly loathed to pay nearer 3 times the price from an official supplier if the only impact of using the 12v ones is say a 1% drop in BHP.
