Does the resonator and muffler from this auction fit a 87 300E?
I've tried looking these parts up on partsshop and other sites, but have not found any information on them, can anyone verify fitment?

the numbers do not come back as good in my epc either, when he says TD one would assume diesel wagon, but the rear muffler is definately not from a wagon, i think his T in TD is reffering to the T in Turbo instead of the T in touring.
physically the parts look the same and would probably fit a gas model, but
i believe it is the internals or pipe diameter that is different, i would not risk buying theses for your 300E.

also after doing a parts comparison by current mercedes part numbers they do appear different.

Diesel:
center muffler part # 124-491-02-00
raer muffler part # 124-491-92-01

Gas:
center muffler part # 124-491-11-01
Rear muffler part # 124-491-04-00

btw, what is epc ?
is this the same program the parts department uses at the dealership, the program that shows diagrams of parts and things of that nature.

yes it is the same program used by mercedes, the version i have currently is 4-2005, pretty current, below are pictures related to your 300E exhaust system.
