Vacuum 101, for an old 202, please!

Well! All is *fairly* well with the 97 c230, but she's got 91k now, and I"m startig to wax sentimental about having to part with my warranty soon

I've been fairly successful getting worn wear-and-tear parts replaced for the last 30k. One of my areas of concern though is the vacuum system, which after 8 hot summers, the lines must be getting some deterioration. Maybe not?

Is there any preventive maintenence for the system? I know these cars pretty much live and die by vacuum, so I'd like to prolong the system's life if possible. Thanks!
