Temp gauge not registering?????
 

91 e300te 4matic I just got done doing the headgasket and replacing the thermostat and v belt. My temp gauge on the instrument panel does not register at all. I tried to do a search and came up with nothing concerning the temp gauge not working. Car seems to be running very hot and have not driven since gasket due to not going to risk overheating and warpage. I did check fuses and they are all good. Thanks for your help

You hook the single wire to the sensor back up ???

Yes, I hooked up the three sensors back in the same order I believe you are referring to the three sensors on the drivers side located on the head closest to the firewall.

If it is hooked up, take an ohm reading to ground
