sl 600 ads light
I have a 1996 sl600 with 46000 miles. Last week my ads warning light started coming on intermittantly. The car feels like it drives OK. As I live in Aberdeen, SD the nearest dealer shop is 200 miles away, and no one in town seems to have the proper scanning tool.
First, am I likely to do any damage by driving it? Second, what kind of hardware would I need to diagnose the problem? If it's something I could pick up on Ebay without spending an arm and a leg, I'd consider buying it. I have an extremely good mechanic at the local Toyota shop who is very comfortable doing the work, if the right tools are available. |
