Stupid questions
Just bought a 1982 380SL. Does not have an owner's manual. I need help!
How do I reset the radio buttons on the original Becker? What are thre right srews that hold the rear tag on the car? What is the right Octane for the gasoline? Thanks to all. Jim |
I'm assuming that the radio is an old analog w/ mechanical buttons. Radio preset buttons are set by tuning the station, then pulling out the desired button and pushing it back in.

Try Potomac German Auto. They're an MB recycler.
http://www.mbpartsonline.com/ When I bought my 201 it didn't have a manual. I called up there and spoke with Pat (he is also a member here: Potomac Pat). He searched through their stack of manuals, and found me the correct one for my year/model -- very cool! I think they charged around $10 + shipping (but don't quote me on that... it's been a few years). Jeff Pierce |
MBUSA also carries the manuals. 1-800-FOR-MERC(edes).

You might also check/search online for PDF files of the manual. You're going to need one, and while you're at it- get a shop manual as well!
