I really like the European style bumpers for the W123 much better than my big American bumpers. I want to put them on my 300cd. Would they bolt up with out modification? Does anyone know where I can get them and for how much? Thanks, Andy

The euro W123 had 2 different bumpers; a complete chromate front and rear bumper (out of three parts) for the benzines models and a partly chromate front and rear bumper with black rubber sides/endings for the diesel models.

These bumpers are bolted on the same way (I think). Two bigger bolts/nuts for the big middle bumper part and some smaller bolts & screws for the side parts (it has been some time since I have last looked closely at it).

Now that you mention it, I have seen both kinds of european bumpers. I want to get a set of the small chrome ones without the rubber boot on the side. Know of anyone that might have some? thanks, andy

I don't know if Parts Shop deals in Euro body parts, but check there first. If not, Euro 123 bumpers both new and used appear in an Adsit catalog I have which is several years old. They are quite a bit more expensive than the US bumpers.
