I'm in the planning stages of pulling the trans from my '87 300E for a rebuild at 275,000 mi.
Does anyone know what the weight is?? No wild guesses, please!

I once set out to find this exact number and I can tell you it's not readily available. Hopefully this is not a wild guess since I once picked one up - I'm guessing (not wildly) something like 75 to 100 pounds.

My 722.303 trans weighed 138 lbs. on a bathroom scale this past weekend when I put it on the bench. This was drained of fluid and with torque converter, just as it was removed from car.
