Seat swapping or just seat cover swapping?

Hi all,

My 98-E320 driver seat is starting to show its age while the passenger is still fine. I found a very nice DYI (here) for swapping seat on a 190E but I am not sure if it can be done on mine, of course power seat.
Have any one done it on a W210 model? Or is there a way to just change the cover?

Thanks in advance
JeffreyP
