1990 air conditioning gas...

hi guys,

which freon did they use when they built the 1990 560SEC ?
I am guessing R12..??

if so, just wondering where to get it now a days.

R12 was still being used in 1990, and you need a license to buy it.

The license is no sweat. It costs $15 and up to a few hours of time.

You can still buy it on ebay and other online retailers. Most will have you fax a copy of your certification to them prior to shipping.
