84 Mercedes 380se cooling problem
I have an 84 Mercedes 380se which always seems to overheat. I changed the thermastat and used a coolent flush but didn't help. Any other suggestions? Is there something other then the one thermastat that I should look at or sensor? Thanks Karl

Had the same problem with my 84 sl. Changed everything but could not fix the problem. Noticed the temp guage would jump around from 110c to 90c and back. I changed the clip on the wire from the temp sender and grounded the instrument cluster and now the car runs at 90-95c all day in sunny and hot florida. Just a thought but cheaper than a water pump, raditor, and fan clutch that I replaced.
