Am I missing a part?
 

My front license plate mount (190e 2.6) is angled in the center, following the line of the bumper. Pictures on the internet of others cars look like the mount is flat. Is something missing on my car, some kind of subplate that wil leave the front plate flat and uncreased? I know this is a minor thing, but it is an irritation. Thanks for your help, as always.

Missing Part
 

I have the same problem. I assume that this is the way things are supposed to be as the MB dealer supplied a new plate braket for my 88 300 with no extra parts to support it on either side. I made some spacers which solved the problem.

Okay, thanks. What did you learn about screw or bolt size?
