Will alternator from 190E work for 300E
I need an alternator asap for my 86 300E. I see one on ebay that ends in a few hours ,but its from an 86 190E. If you know if its a universal part, please let me know asap. thanks

the numbers are different, so I don't think so.
Are you sure it's not your 30 dollar voltage regulator that's the issue? |
It will mount up and work, but why not get a higher rated one, like a 90A or 143A, that will also bolt up.

i had to take it to the shop today. definately the alternator. i think im just going to overnight a new one. it'll probably be worth it in the end
