drain coolant M104
Can anyone tell me the outside diameter of the coolant drain nipple on a 94 M104? I want to attach a hose to it when draining the engine's coolant to try to prevent a mess.

I'm not intimately familiar with a 104 motor, but in many respects , it's just a 103 with an extra cam. That said, I bet a buck your drain plug is the same as mine.
I use std. size heater hose to connect to the nipple.

i'd guess 3/8 - 1/2" nipple, drive your car to home depot or other hardware stoer, measure the nipple (its just under the bumper) and get the correct size tubing.

1/2" heater hose works well.
