Minor fire need help
 

Mechanic working on my 84 380Sl fuel problem left a fuel line loose and attempted to start car. Hood pad caught fire and melted and now goo is all over manifolds and engine. Tried engine cleaner and Goo Gone, the crap won't budge. Any ideas on how to clean this mess?
Luckily car runs great and damage was hood pad, grill and a vacuum line on firewall. The SL God watches over us all....
