chasin the rattles
82 300sd,
trying to get some of the old age creeks and groans out of the car. any suggestions on what i might take a look at. would like to get a more solid ride and try to do away with body rattle from old age. thanx flyboy

You can quiet it down considerably by applying vinyl treatment like STP Son-of-a-Gun (I've had problems with Armor All) on the door weatherstrips and the surface of the door sill plates that contact the door interior panels.
